Role Overview: The Logistics Support Administrator will provide administrative and operational support across the Freight Desk and wider Customer Support team. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform core Freight Desk administrative functions including data entry, document control, and shipment file management.
- Ensure all customs obligations are fulfilled accurately and on time, including preparation of supporting documentation for import and export entries.
- Coordinate daily freight movements across various transport modes, ensuring accurate planning, capacity utilisation, and timely communication with carriers.
- Liaise with internal Freight Desk colleagues to maintain operational visibility and ensure smooth workflow across the department.
- Provide administrative support to other departments as required.
- Support other Customer Support team members once own workload is completed.
Requirements:
- Understanding of Logistics
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
