Senior Indirect Buyer Washington Salary: Competitive DOE Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a busy and growing start-up on the appointment of a Senior Indirect Buyer to join the Indirect Purchasing team. At a very exciting time within the business, this is a fantastic fresh opportunity to join a growing and developing organisation with a huge scope to be part of the journey in getting the Indirect Procurement function established, processes implemented and relationship foundations built. Being a new and varied role within a continuously expanding team, there is also opportunity to work across a variety of different Indirect commodities and services as well as get involved in number of new projects. As Senior Indirect Buyer, responsibilities will include: * Strategic and operational management multiple Indirect categories across Energy, CAPEX, Waste and suite of Professional Services * Sourcing and selection of global suppliers and vendors * Negotiation of contractual agreements, SLAs and KPIs * Building relationships and partnerships with selected suppliers and internal functions Candidates will ideally demonstrate the following skills and experience: * Strong knowledge of Indirect procurement categories * Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate, build relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Working knowledge of MRP systems, ideally SAP * Passion and drive to succeed, go the extra mile and think outside of the box in spotting opportunities and ability to deliver solutions with an improvement-driven mindset * CIPS Qualified advantageous This role would suit a driven and motivated individual with a passion to make a difference and be part of an exciting journey of a forward-thinking and market leading business.
