Day Shift Position - Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting our returning client with the appointment of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis to join a long standing team to work on a variety of projects, including automation. Although this is a multi-skilled position, electrical knowledge would be highly beneficial.

Job Description
- Supporting production through rapid response and troubleshooting to correct faults/breakdowns occurring with processes and facilities and ensuring that the correct spare parts are available for key processes.
- Responsible for the safe and proper working conditions of facilities, recommending unscheduled maintenance when potential problems are recognised and liaising with contractors when required.
- Work with Production Engineers & Lean Manufacturing Engineers (MT&L) to improve production processes through fault diagnosis & moving of production processes.
- Ensure that machine files & records are kept up to date.
- Data collection for machines to understand key department metrics.
Skills Required
- Qualified to NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a technical discipline
- Time served within a Mechanical and/or Electrical discipline
- Excellent fault finding and diagnosis skills on a wide range of plant machinery
- Computer literate
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment where you can be confident speaking to customers with strong communication skills
