Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a leading engineering business that delivers innovative safety and life-support solutions across various industries, such as energy, healthcare, and petrochemicals. Due to continued growth, they\βre looking for a Field Project Engineer to join their operations team and support projects throughout the South East.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of project delivery from planning through to on-site commissioning. Act as the technical link between engineering design and field execution, ensuring all installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Conduct site surveys and technical assessments.
- Coordinate and supervise installations with internal and external teams.
- Perform FAT/SAT testing, loop checks, and system commissioning.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all project and safety standards.
Qualifications
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering
- Demonstrable experience in field-based projects or commissioning work
- Strong understanding of ATEX, DSEAR, or other regulated environments (optional but advantageous)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Flexibility to travel frequently across the South East.
This is a permanent role based in the South East on a remote basis and with 60% travel.
