Are you an experienced Electrical Manager ready to take full ownership of a growing department? This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new client of Jackson Hogg and play a pivotal role in shaping, developing, and leading an electrical division with true autonomy. We’re looking for someone with at least 5 years of management experience who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same, someone equally comfortable leading people, improving processes, winning work, estimating projects, and still being hands-on when required. Job Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing electrical team
  • Act as NICEIC Duty Holder / QS and maintain annual accreditation
  • Oversee installation, testing, compliance, and remedial works across commercial and industrial sites
  • Ensure all work aligns with BS7671, CDM, and wider H&S standards
  • Manage the full electrical compliance programme and associated improvement works
  • Get involved in estimating when needed, using systems such as SAGE, Eque2, or similar
  • Identify new business opportunities and bring existing customer contacts where possible
  • Monitor budgets, costs, and department financial performance

Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 years’ management experience within electrical contracting, maintenance, or compliance
  • Strong background in commercial/industrial electrical installations
  • Proven ability to run, grow, or significantly improve a department or division
  • NICEIC experience (QS/Duty Holder) highly desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and wider electrical systems
  • Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and perform under pressure
  • IT proficiency, including MS Office and estimating software
  • NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, 2391 (or equivalent) required
  • SMSTS / IOSH desirable
