Buyer South Tyneside £29k + discretionary bonus scheme Jackson Hogg Procurement division are pleased to be working with an industrial services business in South Tyneside on the appointment of a Buyer to join their supply chain team. This role is a newly-created position due to growth so is an exciting time to join! This is a permanent role offering hybrid working of 2 days per week from home. The primary focus is to procure goods and services quickly and accurately to ensure operations are maintained across the business. Benefits: * Development opportunities within the team * Discretionary bonus scheme paid annually * Hybrid working * 2 days per week offering flexibility to hours * 25 days holiday plus bank hols * Purchase holiday scheme up to 5 extra days * Enhanced pension scheme * Employee Assistant Programme * Retail discounts The Role: * Raise POR’s for goods and services ensuring approval in line with DOA. * Expedite POR’s to ensure lead times are met. * Issue RFQ’s * Invoice query resolution. * Engage with key stakeholders across the business to develop relationships, understand requirements and project pipeline. * Be a champion for the function, providing guidance and support to site teams for all aspects of supply chain.
