Jackson Hogg is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Driver to join their team in Aberdeen. This role involves delivering portable toilets to customer sites, servicing units during hire periods, and collecting them once the hire is complete.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating company vehicles safely, maintaining high service standards for customers, and ensuring all environmental and health & safety regulations are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver portable toilets to customer sites and collect them at the end of the hire period
- Carry out regular servicing and cleaning of toilets while on hire
- Ensure vehicles are positioned safely before emptying and servicing units
- Load and unload toilets using safe lifting practices and company procedures
- Inspect toilets on collection to ensure they are in good working condition
- Record any visible damage, excessive dirtiness, or missing items
- Complete all delivery, collection, and service documentation accurately
- Use company software systems to manage deliveries and paperwork (training provided)
- Follow planned delivery and service routes to maximise efficiency and minimise fuel usage
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, including driving hours
- Maintain a safe working environment both on-site and at depot locations
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum Class C1 driving licence
- Driver CPC with valid training records
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years’ driving experience
- Experience working in a customer-facing role
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively
