Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tax Prep
- understanding of financial concepts, asset management, and general ledger accounting
- Proven experience in public accounting with a focus on tax management
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, auditing practices, and general ledger accounting
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and guidelines
- Provide guidance on tax planning strategies to optimize the organization\\\βs tax position
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review
- Familiar with QuickBooks software for efficient financial tracking and reporting for clients
- Assist junior staff members, providing training and mentorship as needed
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of specialized industry and/or regulatory requirements
- Help to manage and monitor preparation and review of complex S Corporation, C Corporation, partnership, multistate and individual tax returns, including projections and estimate calculations
- Assist to manage the workflow, including proper delegation to staff according to their experience
- Review the tax working papers and determine that the engagement has been performed in accordance with professional standards and the terms of the engagement letter
- Conduct tax research to develop innovative solutions for our clients
- Participate in and actively seeks training to maintain current technical knowledge
