Salary: £40,000 Depending on experience

About the Role: We are looking for a versatile, hands-on engineer with strong technical ability and a passion for delivering excellence in life safety and security systems. As part of our field engineering team, you will install, maintain, and commission fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm, and access control systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites. This is a dynamic role suited to someone who enjoys variety, independence, and problem-solving; no two days are the same. You will be trusted to plan your own workload, deliver outstanding service, and contribute to continuous improvement in safety and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, commission, and fault-find on Fire Alarm, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems (conventional addressable).
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with BS 5839, BS 6266, BS 4737, and NSI/BAFE standards.
  • Diagnose faults quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
  • Provide technical support and system training to clients and end-users.
