Role Overview
This field‑based, lone‑working role involves installing and maintaining a wide range of fire and security systems, ensuring excellent service delivery to customers. The role is primarily Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with some flexibility required. No overnight stays or overnight travel are required.
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, and fault‑finding fire alarm systems, access control systems, intruder alarms, CCTV systems and fire extinguishers.
- Undertake technical challenges and protect people, property and assets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high professional standards.
- Take ownership of workload, report daily to manager, and operate independently.
Person Specification
- Proven experience working with fire and/or security systems, including installation, maintenance and fault finding of fire alarm systems, access control systems, intruder alarms, CCTV systems and fire extinguishers. (Further training will be provided where required)
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication skills, able to interact with customers face‑to‑face and over the telephone.
- A can‑do attitude with customer service as a top priority.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
- Highly self‑motivated, capable of working independently and delivering work to the highest standards.
- Hard‑working and reliable approach to all tasks.
- Ability to manage workload effectively with minimal supervision.
- Successful applicants will be subject to security screening in accordance with BS7858.
