An Engineer responsible for maintaining fire and security equipment, supporting installations, and handling small works and remedials. Workdays are dynamic and diverse, ranging from installing fire extinguishers to servicing large commercial fire or intruder alarm systems. You will represent the business and deliver exceptional customer service, working as a lone operator reporting daily to the Branch Director.
Person Specification
- Experience installing, maintaining, and fault‑finding fire alarms, access control systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and fire extinguishers (further training available)
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- Professional communication skills – face to face and telephone
- Can‑do attitude with customer service as a top priority
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Self‑motivated and capable of working alone to a high standard
- Hard‑working attitude
- Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision
- Successful applicants subject to Security Screening in accordance with BS7858
