Due to success of winning more work in our Southern Region, we are recruiting for a Project Manager.

Due to a number of recent project successes across Hampshire and Sussex, our South East region is looking to recruit a Project Manager.
We have secured several new infrastructure and civil engineering projects across the region and continue to see a strong pipeline of upcoming opportunities, with further work currently being tendered throughout the South East.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in East Sussex, West Sussex, or Hampshire to support the delivery of current and future projects.
Main Duties
- Management of site staff, operatives and sub-contractors.
- Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and Project Management plans.
- Understand tender allowances and monitor contract loss against agreed budgets.
- Preparing and monitoring programmes of work.
- Foster good relations and reputation with clients.
- Manage design co-ordination.
- Assessment and engagement of sub-contractors.
- Manage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion of contracts.
- Supervise, mentor and assist in the career development of junior staff.
Are you the person we are looking for?
The successful candidate will have experience working for a main contractor on civil engineering projects, with a strong background in highways, structures and heavy civil engineering schemes.
You will possess excellent technical knowledge alongside proven people management experience, with the ability to lead teams effectively, communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders, and delegate responsibilities appropriately to ensure successful project delivery.
Applicants should be an experienced Senior Site Agent or Project Manager and hold a relevant industry qualification (HND, HNC, BEng or equivalent), together with a valid SMSTS qualification, appropriate CSCS card and Temporary Works Coordinator qualification.
A First Aid at Work qualification is desirable, and knowledge of NEC contracts would be advantageous.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout our Southern Region and hold a full UK driving licence.
