This is a role for someone bright, curious, and commercially switched on. You will join a high-performing conference production team, responsible for creating market-leading events at the intersection of some of the most fast-moving and consequential topics shaping business and technology today. You will own your conferences end to end: from researching the market and mapping the landscape, to building agendas that attract the most senior speakers in the industry and content that delegates genuinely cannot afford to miss.
As a Conference Producer, you will:
- Research your market deeply and develop genuine industry expertise across your portfolio
- Write compelling, commercially driven conference agendas that position each event as a must-attend
- Identify, approach, and secure senior-level speakers through confident, proactive telephone, email and LinkedIn outreach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry experts, practitioners, and thought leaders
- Collaborate with sponsorship and marketing teams to ensure content supports revenue targets
- Continually monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and audience intelligence to sharpen your programmes
- Take ownership of your events from initial concept through to live delivery onsite
Overseas travel will be required.
The right person for this role will be:
- Highly confident on the telephone, able to engage senior professionals at C-suite and Director level with conviction and credibility
- Commercially minded, with a genuine understanding of how content drives revenue in the events space
- Intellectually curious, able to get under the skin of a complex subject quickly and translate it into commercially relevant content
- An excellent written communicator, with a sharp eye for what makes an agenda compelling and a session title irresistible
- Tenacious and resilient, someone who treats a 'no' as the beginning of a conversation, not the end
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Genuinely enthusiastic about a career in the B2B events industry and everything it takes to produce a world-class conference
Your Experience:
- Ideally, 12-24 months of experience in conference production; however, similar B2B publishing, journalism, research, or similar content-driven roles will be considered
- Evidence of proactive telephone-based outreach, whether in sales, research, or speaker acquisition
- A degree-level education or equivalent
- Experience working in or around fast-paced, agile, commercially driven and high-growth environments
