Events Coordinator - B2B Conferences

City, London, Hybrid (3 days in the office) - Travel

Salary up to Β£32,000 + Benefits

A growing B2B information business -spanning events, research, editorial content and data intelligence for the corporate and financial services sector - is looking for an Events Coordinator to join the team!

Success here rests on two things: a genuine care for the people attending, and real confidence working with systems and data behind the scenes.

You'll be the person delegates and sponsors come to know and trust, while also keeping the operational side ticking along accurately, from booking through to the day itself. The events you'll support range from smaller half-day sessions to larger conferences and awards nights.

It's a great grounding for anyone who wants to understand event operations properly, with regular contact across production, marketing, content, sales and leadership, and a natural next step into events management for those who want to progress that way.

What the Role Involves

  • Building and testing registration forms, then owning day-to-day processing so booking data stays clean and reliable across the full events portfolio
  • Overseeing bookings; checking how they are progressing against goals, reporting and managing on the CRM, keep wider team updated on progress.
  • Handling the financial and administrative side of bookings and keeping records current.
  • Acting as the go-to contact for delegates, running and refining the pre-event email journey from confirmation through to reminders and feedback requests
  • Following up on gaps in attendee information, dietary needs and waitlist management
  • Proofing sponsor contracts and being their main point of contact
  • Keeping sponsor records, contracts and website listings organised, and following up to make sure everything promised is delivered on time
  • Coordinating sponsor access passes and sharing attendee data as agreed in each contract
  • Preparing badges and seating plans, and keeping event web pages current
  • Running the onsite registration desk and being the first point of contact for delegates and sponsors on the day, pitching in wherever needed
  • Closing out each event: thank-you and no-show follow-ups, finalised attendee numbers, feedback collation, and summary reporting for sponsors and internal teams
  • Liaising with venues and suppliers
  • Picking up broader support as needed, including helping organise team social events and supporting colleagues with logistics and admin

What You'll Need

  • 1+ years of experience supporting events, working directly with customers, or in a similar organising role - B2B or corporate backgrounds are a plus
  • A naturally warm manner with people, paired with a genuine commitment to getting things right for them
  • Comfortable picking up new platforms and spreadsheets quickly, and happy working in Excel day to day
  • A methodical approach and a sharp eye for accuracy, with the capacity to keep several projects moving at once
  • Comfortable taking ownership and being accountable for tasks.
  • Open to overseas trips for events and to adjusting your schedule around when they fall
  • Have a can do approach to your role, happy to support colleagues as and when needed.
  • Have attention to detail and care about the work your produce.

This is a great platform for someone building a long-term career in event operations, offering real responsibility straight away and a defined path to grow from here.
