We’re looking for a motivated and organised Trainee Transport Scheduler to join our growing transport and logistics team. This role is ideal for a school leaver, college leaver, or recent graduate who is keen to start a career in logistics and transport. You don’t need previous experience in transport — we’re looking for someone with good A-levels (or equivalent), a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided, with the opportunity to develop valuable skills in scheduling, planning, and logistics operations.
What You’ll Be Learning & Doing
- Assist in planning and updating daily transport schedules
- Communicate with drivers to help ensure deliveries run smoothly
- Liaise with customers to provide delivery updates when required
- Monitor vehicle movements and report any delays or issues
- Keep accurate records of routes, schedules, and delivery times
- Learn how transport and logistics software systems work
- Support compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
- Help schedule appointments for the on-site workshop and liaise with workshop staff
This is a hands-on role where you’ll gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence and knowledge grow.

- Is organised, reliable, and pays attention to detail
- Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems

- Is happy with occasional lone working once fully trained
No previous transport experience is required — attitude and willingness to learn are more important than experience.
