Sales & New Business Development Executive

We are recruiting for a Sales New Business Development Executive to join a well established company based in Leighton Buzzard, who are recruiting due to continued growth. This is a great opportunity for a hungry sales person, who enjoys business development, and people interaction. Within this role you may have some international travel, attend sales conferences and exhibitions across Europe. Location: Leighton Buzzard, office based, with the potential for 1-day remote working on Fridays. Working hours: 09:00am - 17:00pm, Monday to Friday. Contract Type: Permanent. Overview: Seeking a driven and ambitious Sales Executive to join our fast-paced team. This is a varied, split role spanning outbound sales calls and online sales platforms — meaning no two days look quite the same. Owning the early stages of the sales cycle: identifying and prospecting new opportunities, generating leads, and building the pipeline that drives our growth. Duties: Proactively prospecting and identifying new business opportunities through outbound calls and online platforms. Generating and qualifying leads to build a strong, healthy pipeline. Managing the initial stages of the sales cycle from first contact through to handover. Engaging prospects via telephone and digital/online sales channels. Maintaining accurate records and activity tracking in line with team processes. Contributing to team goals while managing your own workload independently. Skills/Experience: Proven experience in direct sales, telesales, and/or marketing. Confident, articulate communicator — comfortable on the phone and in written outreach. Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently. Equally comfortable as part of a wider team — collaborative, supportive, and adaptable.
