We are recruiting for a Food Beverage Manager to join a prestigious hotel restaurant situated just outside of Milton Keynes. Due to location, you would need to be a driver, as there is a lack of transport links. This role does involve weekend working.
Location: Just outside of Milton Keynes, transport (car) necessary.
Working Hours: 5 out of 7 days, including weekends. This will include shift work.
Contract Type: Perm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day F B operations (restaurant, bar, banqueting, room service).
- Ensure service standards, hygiene food safety compliance.
- Monitor quality of food, beverages customer service.
- Manage opening/closing procedures.
- Recruit, train supervise staff.
- Schedule shifts manage labour costs.
- Ensure excellent communication between kitchen service teams.
- Develop/execute sales strategies to increase F B revenue.
- Manage budgets, forecasts profit margins.
- Control food/beverage costs (wastage, inventory, supplier pricing).
- Analyse financial reports KPIs (revenue, average spend, margins).
- Manage stock levels, ordering supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing contracts.
- Ensure proper storage/stock rotation (FIFO).
- Identify new business opportunities (events, corporate clients, partnerships).
- Drive upselling/cross-selling initiatives.
- Plan/promote special offers, seasonal menus events.
- Monitor/improve average check value customer spend.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns/promotions.
- Build relationships with key clients.
- Analyse sales trends adjust pricing/menu strategies accordingly.
- Ensure effective use of reservation systems revenue optimization tools.
Requirements Skills:
- Proven experience in F B management or hospitality leadership.
