We are recruiting for a Customer Service Representative (Temp to perm) to join a lovely, stable and growing business who have their UK Head Office and distribution centre based here in Leighton Buzzard.
For this role, all candidates
MUST have previous office based experience, within a customer service based position.
Location
Leighton Buzzard, fully office based, NO remote working.
Working Hours
09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday = 37.5 hours per week.
Contract Type
Temp to perm.
Overview
- This is a varied role that combines customer service with administrative support, ensuring customers receive an excellent experience from enquiry through to order completion.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills & the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service via telephone and email.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries, resolving issues professionally.
- Liaise with internal departments including Sales, Warehouse, Purchasing and Accounts.
- Maintain accurate customer records and databases.
- Respond to customer enquiries in a timely & professional manner.
- Monitor customer orders and provide updates on delivery schedules.
- Handle returns, credits and customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure all customer interactions are handled in line with company procedures and service standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service and administration role - office based.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Positive, proactive and team-focused attitude.
- Experience using CRM systems.
