Head of Quality Worcester £80,000 to £100,000 Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Quality to lead and develop the quality function across a manufacturing business.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving quality standards, supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Experience within a complex manufacturing environment such as aerospace, automotive or similar is highly desirable.

  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the company's quality strategy, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Lead, mentor and develop the Quality team to achieve business objectives
  • Manage supplier quality performance, including supplier audits, scorecards, non-conformances and corrective actions
  • Ensure products, processes and materials meet customer, regulatory and internal quality standards
  • Oversee ISO compliance, quality systems, internal and external audits
  • Lead root cause investigations using quality tools such as 8D, FMEA and CAPA
  • Analyse quality KPIs and report on performance to senior management
  • Work closely with Operations, Technical and Supply Chain teams to improve processes and product quality
  • Drive customer satisfaction by supporting the resolution of quality issues and implementing preventative measures Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in a Head of Quality, Quality Manager or Quality Director role within manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of supplier quality management and quality systems
  • Experience managing ISO standards, audits and regulatory compliance
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 8D and FMEA
  • A continuous improvement mindset with experience using data and KPIs to drive business performance
  • Experience within aerospace, automotive or another highly regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous
  • Six Sigma Black Belt and/or a relevant degree or professional qualification would be beneficial Working Hours and Benefits
