Senior Stores Controller Witney Salary Dependent upon Experience Our well-established client supply a wide range of industry sectors, they operate across the UK and abroad! They are recruiting for a Senior Stores Controller with experience to join their busy and dynamic team! Senior Stores Controller Roles and Responsibilities: * Be responsible for the daily movement of stock in the stores department * Follow established booking in and out processes, regularly liaising with the Production Manager and Purchasing department to ensure information is shared e.g., restock issues * Identifying and organising locations of parts at various stages in the production process, loading on and off of stillages and co-ordinating the parts in the two upright storage conveyors * Ensure accuracy regarding stock identification / counting, recording it on their internal systems Tricorn * Manual handling, operating lift trucks and other equipment dictated by the task * Visually checking stock items for quality issues when received into Stores * Learn to identify the componentry that makes up the kit of parts * Operating the cleaning machines as dictated by workflow The ideal Senior Stores Controller will: * Experience in a Production led environment * Ability to organise and work to deadlines * Effective communicator and a pro-active approach * Computer literacy and accuracy with figures * A good level of fitness Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 / Friday: 08:00 – 15:30 Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 27 years.
