Our well-established client are recruiting for a Production Operative to support with the manufacture of components within the Classic Automotive sector!

Production Operative Roles and Responsibilities

  • To accurately assemble products ready for use in sub-assemblies or for stock within a specified time frame and in the order of priority as displayed by the Production and Warehouse schedule
  • To test all produced parts as required by assembly procedures
  • Reject any faulty parts in line with the reject procedure
  • To inform the Production Supervisor of any picking discrepancies
  • To maintain a clean and tidy work area to ensure that assembly parts are not lost or damaged
  • To undertake work of a related nature in addition to your normal duties upon request
  • To advise of any unsafe working practices or faulty equipment
  • To abide to company terms and conditions of employment

The ideal Production Operative will:

  • Able to ensure that all parts are assembled correctly and built as per the job instructions
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out accurately including store issue information, quality control sheets, reject forms and build time stamps
  • Ensure all spreadsheets are filled out accurately including the "Production & Warehouse schedule" and the "Reject register"
  • Reduce reject parts by re-working when possible and avoid in-house rejects by taking care when handling product

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:00
