Our well-established client is looking for an experienced Pump Service Engineer to join their growing team. If you have experience performing electrical and mechanical engineering duties and are happy travelling to client sites, come join their growing team!
Pump Service Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work on client sites performing general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment
- Participating in our Emergency Call-Out Rota
- Work with grey water and effluent systems and work within confined spaces
- Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, with the use of a PDA and mobile phone
- Provide positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers
- Work independently or as a member of a team
The ideal Pump Service Engineer will:
- Proven experience of working with grey water and effluent systems/ submersible pumping stations
- Mechanical and Electrical skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good mechanical and electrical skills
- The ability to work remotely
- Flexibility to work on our Emergency Call-Out Rota
- The ability to deal professionally with customers
- Constructive interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently or as a member of a team
- A positive personality and helpful disposition
- Flexible approach
- Trustworthy, honest and have integrity
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification would be highly advantageous
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 9.5 Hours a day β 47.5 Hours a Week
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
- On call rota 1 in 6 weeks
