Our client, a well-established and highly reputable company based in Malmesbury, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder Fabricator to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and forward-thinking business that takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MIG welding
- Work with a range of metals, including stainless steel, structural steel and mild steel
- Fabricate and weld components of varying thicknesses
- Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Maintain high workmanship standards across all tasks
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Previous experience working with structural steel, mild and stainless steel
- Ability to confidently read and work from engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Working Hours and Benefits:
- Monday - Thursday, 07:50 – 17:00
- Fridays, 07:50 – 14:30
- 40 hour working week
- 30 minute lunch break and 10 minute break in the morning
- Overtime available in the morning (07:20 – 07:50)
- Overtime on a Friday Afternoon (14:30 – 16:00)
