Our client is a leader in their field and are recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join their growing team!
Roles and Responsibilities:- Ability to work under pressure and in a busy environment to achieve business targets
- Competent in all Maintenance Engineering principles
- Demonstrate company values through behaviour
- Respond to equipment breakdown, diagnosing and rectifying faults
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities
- Perform fault finding on equipment and source parts
- Analyse breakdown causes and instigate corrective actions
- Undertake minor electronic repairs
- Understand the needs of production and make adjustments to ensure good process control and quality
- Set up machines and teach others how to do so
- Participate in Quality Improvement Teams
- Obtain quotations and raise Purchase Requisitions for machine parts
- Keep up to date Preventative Maintenance logs, machine breakdown details, service and repair records
- Undertake risk assessments on a variety of plant and equipment across the site
- Ensure that safe working practices are always adopted
- BTEC NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Microsoft Office skills (including Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively across all areas of the business
- Problem solving and decision making
- HNC in relevant Engineering/Maintenance discipline
- SAP experience desirable
- 5+ years outside of apprenticeship experience
- Proven Fault Diagnosis Experience
- Total Planned Maintenance (TPM) knowledge
- Knowledge of Pneumatics
- Starting on days, then potentially moving to shift patterns
- Days: Monday β Thursday: 08:00am β 16:30pm, Friday: 08:00am β 13:00pm
- Early shift: Monday β Thursday: 06:30am β 14:30pm, Friday: 06:30am β 14:00pm
- Late shift: Monday β Thursday: 14:30pm β 23:00pm, Friday: 14:00pm β 19:30pm
- Shift premiums are 17.57% for the Early shift and 22.97% for the Late shift
