Are you an experienced TIG Welder looking for your next opportunity with a growing and reputable company? Our client, based in Havant, is expanding their team and is seeking a skilled and reliable TIG Welder to join their busy workshop.
TIG Welder Roles and Responsibilities:- Carry out high-quality TIG welding to precise standards
- Read, interpret and work accurately from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Weld a variety of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel
- Work with material thicknesses ranging from 1β10 mm
- Prepare, clean, and set up materials prior to welding
- Use a range of ancillary tools, machinery, and workshop equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Proven experience in TIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship
- MIG welding experience is advantageous but not essential
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Monday β Thursday, 07:00 β 17:00
- OT available on a Friday morning
- 38 hours a week
- Paid tea break in the morning
