We are looking for an experienced Project Documentation Co-Ordinator to join a growing engineering team in Cramlington. This role will be responsible for coordinating, packaging and issuing client submittals for Gas Turbine system Projects.
Project Documentation Co-Ordinator Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and compile project documentation from internal and external stakeholders into structured, submittal-compliant packages in line with contractual and specification requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and third parties to obtain required technical documentation, ensuring completeness, compliance, and alignment with project deliverables.
- Issue and manage project documentation within the Client Document Management System (CDMS), ensuring accurate metadata, traceability, and adherence to agreed document control procedures.
- Administer document workflows within CDMS, including submission, revision control, review cycles, and approval tracking, ensuring timely progression through all stages.
- Provide support to document control activities, including the preparation and issuance of manufacturing and construction documentation packages where required.
- Identify and escalate gaps, inconsistencies, or non-compliances within submittal packages to relevant stakeholders, driving resolution to maintain project schedule and quality standard.
- Being open to tasks that require additional training and actively working on broadening your knowledge.
- Responsible for collecting, monitoring, processing, and analysing data.
- Reporting the data and making recommendations where necessary.
Project Documentation Co-Ordinator Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent computer skills, i.e., SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using document management systems/portals.
- Ability to understand, interpret and communicate engineering drawings.
- Ability to create document submittal packages.
- Good understanding of project execution processes.

- Full-time, permanent position.
- 37.5 hours a week, with flexible working.
