We at JKR are recruiting a brand-new, exciting position for a global manufacturing company! Our client has a vacancy for a Junior Quality Engineer. This new role is required to play a pivotal role in the development of quality systems. This is a full-time, site-based role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other departments and take a proactive approach to ensure business unit systems are maintained and continually improved
  • Drive non-conformances to closure, to prevent recurrence and adherence to the quality audit schedules
  • Providing support for internal auditors to ensure the level of audit capability within the business
  • Host / support customer and accreditation audits conducted on site

Core Requirements:

  • Exposure as a quality auditor
  • Familiar with the requirement of quality standards ISO 9001 or AS9100
  • Competent in the use of MS Office
  • Competent oral and written communicator

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Previous quality or systems engineer experience
  • Experience of using quality tools (FMEA, Risk Assessment, Design Experiments etc)
  • Knowledge of PPAP, APQC
  • Knowledge of Q Pulse software
  • Knowledge of SPC techniques

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30, Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
  • Flexible working hours
