We at JKR are recruiting a brand-new, exciting position for a global manufacturing company! Our client has a vacancy for a Junior Quality Engineer. This new role is required to play a pivotal role in the development of quality systems. This is a full-time, site-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with other departments and take a proactive approach to ensure business unit systems are maintained and continually improved
- Drive non-conformances to closure, to prevent recurrence and adherence to the quality audit schedules
- Providing support for internal auditors to ensure the level of audit capability within the business
- Host / support customer and accreditation audits conducted on site
Core Requirements:
- Exposure as a quality auditor
- Familiar with the requirement of quality standards ISO 9001 or AS9100
- Competent in the use of MS Office
- Competent oral and written communicator
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Previous quality or systems engineer experience
- Experience of using quality tools (FMEA, Risk Assessment, Design Experiments etc)
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQC
- Knowledge of Q Pulse software
- Knowledge of SPC techniques
Working Hours and Benefits:
- Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30, Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
