We at Jackie Kerr Recruitment are excited to be recruiting a Manufacturing Manager for a forward-thinking, manufacturing company who carry out work for sectors including Aerospace, Defence and Medical! The successful Manufacturing Manager will report to the Manufacturing Director.
Main Duties:
- Achieving the manufacturing objectives as set by the Board of Directors
- Planning, coordinating and controlling manufacturing activities to ensure quality, cost and delivery metrics are achieved
- Capacity planning to ensure that resources are available to achieve the manufacturing plan
- Management of manufacturing employees including recruitment, appraisals, training and disciplinary matters
- Managing all aspects of Health and Safety in the manufacturing area
Skills and Experience:
- Management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Resource management and planning
- Understanding of financial and operating metrics
- Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic business environment
- Strong communication skills
