Our client is looking for a Sub-Assembly Operative to join their team. You will be responsible for manufacture, test and inspection of sub-assemblies as directed by the Sub-Assembly Cell Leader and Logistics Manager, in support of production targets.

Sub-Assembly Roles and Responsibilities

  • Build, test and inspect sub-assemblies
  • Work on building instrument panels which include the cluster module and smaller control components such as bilge blower and nav light buttons
  • Help assemble fuel tanks and perform fuel switch calibration
  • Utilise various hand and power tools
  • Read and work from engineering drawings
  • Build the PPS bracket and assist in the manufacture of sub-assemblies
  • Inspect work manufactured and assembled
  • Adopt good workmanship and quality standards
  • Carry out assembly duties in a timely and orderly manner per production schedules
  • Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as and when required
  • Maintain workstation, tools and any equipment including PPE in a clean and tidy state
  • Ensure strict adherence to the company’s Health and Safety policy and operate in accordance with all other company policies and procedures

Sub-Assembly Ideal Candidate

  • Good standard of general education
  • General appreciation and understanding of conventional workshop power and hand tools
  • Ability to read drawings, follow work instructions and procedures

07:00 – 15:00 Monday to Friday
