Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Aylesbury, is currently seeking an experienced Tool Setter to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in injection moulding to take on a key role within a fast-paced and quality-driven environment.

Tool Setter Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Set machines and ensure accurate first-off approval and last-off inspection
  • Report any tooling failures or issues promptly
  • Accurately complete all relevant documentation, including process change records to ensure full traceability
  • Safely mount and dismount injection mould tools
  • Ensure correct disposal of all waste generated from the moulding process
  • Maximise machine utilisation and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  • Carry out troubleshooting activities as required
  • Respond to machine red-light alerts in a timely manner
  • Support the safe and efficient operation of mould shop equipment and production of moulded components to required standards
  • Provide flexibility to support operator duties when required
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure full compliance with all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
