We at JKR are excited to be recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for an extremely busy and growing precision engineering company!
Main Scope of Role:
- Support Manufacturing activities by directing best methods of manufacture
- Deliver technical engineering support to both production and quality team
- Lead internal facing engineering to deliver continued growth to the business; target areas of improvement using both personal experience and research bolstered by a LEAN approach
- Lead front-end engineering to deliver continued growth to the business; target potential areas within the business that require additional work and grow portfolio and capabilities
- Support new business team to target sectors of growth and deliver engineering solutions to prospective customers by face to face presentations or by technical instructions
- Lead technical discussions with customers delivering engineering solutions
- Lead internal facing engineering issues providing resolutions and recovery plans
- Produce in depth timing plans to support production on NPI projects
- To plan and design the manufacturing process to the shopfloor
- Help to drive continuous improvement
