Our well-established client is recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and technical support within the Classic Automotive sector!

Technical Service Advisor Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels
  • Provide technical advice and product guidance to retail and trade customers
  • Promote relevant products, upgrades, and alternative solutions to maximise sales opportunities
  • Advise customers on restoration services, product availability, lead times, and returns procedures
  • Accurately process customer orders using the company computer system
  • Communicate any order delays, stock shortages, or unavailable parts to customers
  • Maintain accurate customer records and order information
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of company products and services
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting where appropriate
  • Support Sales Assistants in developing product and mechanical knowledge
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure effective communication and customer satisfaction
  • Escalate customer concerns to the Customer Service Manager when required
  • Assist other departments during busy periods
  • Report any unsafe working practices or faulty equipment
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and terms and conditions of employment

The ideal Technical Service Advisor will:

  • Have previous experience within a customer service, sales, or technical support role
  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive components
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be confident explaining technical information to customers of varying knowledge levels
  • Have good IT skills and experience using order processing or CRM systems
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
