Our well-established client is looking for an experienced Pump Service Engineer to join their growing team. If you have experience performing electrical and mechanical engineering duties and are happy travelling to client sites, come join their growing team.
Pump Service Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work on client sites performing general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified.
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment.
- Participate in our Emergency Call-Out Rota.
- Work with grey water and effluent systems and work within confined spaces.
- Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, with the use of a PDA and mobile phone.
- Provide positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers.
- Work independently or as a member of a team.
The ideal Pump Service Engineer will:
- Have proven experience of working with grey water and effluent systems/ submersible pumping stations.
- Possess mechanical and electrical skills.
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- Have good mechanical and electrical skills.
- Be able to work remotely.
- Show flexibility to work on our Emergency Call-Out Rota.
- Deal professionally with customers.
- Exhibit constructive interpersonal skills.
- Have a positive personality and helpful disposition.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach.
- Be trustworthy, honest and have integrity.
- Hold an 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification (highly advantageous).
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 9.5 Hours a day – 47.5 Hours a Week. Overtime paid at 1.5x. On call rota 1 in 6 weeks.
