Fitter/ Assembler Roles and Responsibilities: To carry out mechanical fitting and assembly work Work from engineering drawings to complete assemblies Assembling heat exchanger units from pre-manufactured parts Participating in quality control process to maintain the highest standard Operate fixed and hand held machinery Comply with company health and safety Contributing to continuous improvement projects, offering valuable insights and ideas Keep the work area clean and clear Work to a high standard of manufacturing Carry out production duties as directed by Production Supervision The ideal Fitter/ Assembler will: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Knowledge of lean manufacturing Ideally 2 years experience with in production in a manufacturing industry Mechanical qualification Comply with all Health & Safety requirements and procedures Monday – Friday: 06:00 – 14:00 Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 26 years.
