Our client who specialises in precision engineering, is looking for an IT Assistant Engineer to join their growing team!
IT Assistant Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist the IT and Systems Manager with day-to-day functions of IT and provide support to SOP
- Monitor and analyse system security and report deficiencies/discrepancies to management
- Maintain accuracy of Data collection in Epicor
- Onboarding of new starters for network, e-mail and Epicor access
- Setting up new PCs and other devices and decommissioning as required
- Attend to minor problems, such as faulty PCs, printers, phones etc
- Perform data collection analysis daily, correct issues, inform workshop of errors and produce monthly report
- Maintain stock levels of ink and other printer stationery
- Analysis and auditing of security logs. Notify management of exceptions
- Maintain Windows Server updating service, Webroot AV, Cyber Security Awareness training etc
- Maintain Network profile maps and user matrices
- Enter Customer POs onto Epicor as Sales Orders and amend as necessary
- Raise contract reviews as necessary
- Update Price lists
- Despatch parts
- Adhere to the QMS of the business and maintain compliance to all customer quality requirements and AS9100
- Adhere to the H&S and EMS procedure to ensure best practice legalities and responsibilities are maintained
- The effective implementation of corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives where ownership is assigned
IT Assistant Engineer Ideal Candidate:
- Strong IT Literacy with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Programming knowledge, ideally VBA
- Understanding of Active Directory and MS Server
- Experience with an ERP Business System
- Work both in a team and independently

- Monday - Thursday: 8am - 4pm (core hours)
