Our client, a well-established and dynamic engineering and manufacturing company, are looking to expand! They are currently looking for a Wire Harness Technician to join their team.

Wire Harness Technician Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work on a variety of projects across the motorsport and automotive sector both on and off vehicles, where your input will directly contribute not only to the successful delivery of projects but also to support the success and growth of the business.
  • Manufacture motorsport and automotive electrical harnesses.
  • Work alongside and collaborate with the engineering team.
  • Provide support for harness and electrical system design development and build.
  • Responsible for builds of low and high voltage assemblies and enclosures.

The ideal Wire Harness Technician will have:

  • Previous experience in automotive, motorsport or aerospace environment.
  • Previous experience with wiring harness manufacture.
  • The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and harness manufacturing drawings.
  • Must have experience with the following techniques: Wire wrapping/twisting, Moulded parts/ System 25 and Service loops.
  • Knowledge of connector systems, wire types, and sleeving.
  • The ability to work to automotive and/or motorsport wiring standards.
  • Experience working with high voltage cables and connectors (Desirable).
  • Knowledge of end of line testing (E.G Cirris) (Desirable).
