Are you an experienced Electronic Assembler looking for a new opportunity within a growing engineering and manufacturing business? We are currently recruiting for an Electronic Assembler to join a well-established company based in Hampshire.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic components, PCB assemblies and electro-mechanical products
- Carry out hand soldering of through-hole and surface mount components
- Wire and assemble cable harnesses and electrical assemblies
- Work from engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs and work instructions
- Use hand tools and test equipment to complete builds
- Carry out inspection and quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Identify faults and complete rework where required
- Maintain accurate build records and production paperwork
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within an electronics assembly or manufacturing environment
- Good soldering skills (IPC experience would be advantageous)
- Experience assembling PCBs, wiring or cable harnesses
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and instructions
