Roles and Responsibilities:
- Raise purchase orders and manage delivery schedules to meet production plans.
- Support negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
- Monitor material availability and proactively address shortages or delays.
- Manage orders; place and schedule parts in line with MRP requirements.
- Ensure the MRP system accurately reflects stock dates, locations, and quantities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar role.
- Previous experience within Contracts Electronics Manufacturing (desirable).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to achieving deadlines.
- Strong maths and IT skills with the ability to use daily Word, Excel, MRP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Languages: Fluent English. Mandarin or Cantonese is desirable, but not essential.
Working Hours and Benefits:
- Working hours: 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times.
- Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing annually to a maximum of 30 days.
