Our client, based in Farnborough, is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in fabrication and aluminium welding.
Welder Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
- Primarily work with thin-gauge aluminium materials
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications
- Use a range of tools, including grinders and manual/electric equipment
- Ensure all work meets required production targets and deadlines
- Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and safety
Welder Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
- Minimum of 4 years’ fabrication experience, including working with multi-level BoMs
- At least 4 years’ experience working with thin-gauge aluminium (1.5–6mm)
- Strong practical skills with hand and power tools
- Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and welding symbols
- Extensive experience in fabrication, including complex builds and designs
- Previous coding/qualification in aluminium welding (1.5–6mm) (Desirable)
- BPSS Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Welder Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:45
- Friday, 08:00 – 13:00
