Our well-established client based in Cirencester is seeking a skilled Production / Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team!
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise CNC machining programs using CAM software
- Generate accurate shop floor documentation, including job packs and manufacturing instructions
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), prototype, and low-volume batch manufacturing activities
- Program complex, high-precision components to meet quality and productivity requirements
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD T requirements
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, purchasing, and production teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Assist with tooling selection, procurement, and consumable management
- Create and maintain routings, bills of materials, and related data within the ERP system
- Maintain TPM records, machine maintenance documentation, and associated logs
- Review maintenance reports, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions
- Schedule machine servicing activities and liaise with external service engineers
- Manage tooling inventory and maintain stock levels within the tool vending system
