Our client is a leader in their field and is recruiting for 2 Maintenance Technicians to join their growing team on a 3 month fixed term contract!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a busy environment to achieve business targets
  • Competent in all Maintenance Engineering principles
  • Demonstrate company values through behaviour
  • Respond to equipment breakdown, diagnosing and rectifying faults
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities
  • Perform fault finding on equipment and source parts
  • Analyse breakdown causes and instigate corrective actions
  • Undertake minor electronic repairs
  • Understand the needs of production and make adjustments to ensure good process control and quality
  • Set up machines and teach others how to do so
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Teams
  • Obtain quotations and raise Purchase Requisitions for machine parts
  • Keep up to date Preventative Maintenance logs, machine breakdown details, service and repair records
  • Undertake risk assessments on a variety of plant and equipment across the site
  • Ensure that safe working practices are always adopted

Ideal Candidate

  • BTEC NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • HNC in relevant Engineering/Maintenance discipline
  • Microsoft Office skills (including Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Pneumatics
  • SAP experience desirable
  • 5+ years outside of apprenticeship experience
  • Proven Fault Diagnosis Experience
  • Total Planned Maintenance (TPM) knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail, capable of problem solving and decision making

Working Hours and Benefits

  • Early shift: Monday - Thursday: 06:30am - 14:30pm, Friday: 06:30am - 14:00pm
  • Late shift: Monday - Thursday: 14:30pm - 23:00pm, Friday: 14:00pm - 19:30pm
  • Shift premiums are 17.57% for the Early shift and 22.97% for the Late shift
