Assistant Cutter Operator
Bathford
£32,088.76 Per annum. Rising to £37,312 once trained
Our client is recruiting for a great opportunity to work within a highly technical environment, working with customers across the world manufacturing unique products.
Assistant Cutter Operator Role and Responsibilities:
- Cutting manufactured products using Strachan Henshaw Machine
- Maintaining quality assurance
- Using multiple operating systems to maintain the correct measurements and quality of manufactured products
- Understand use of making dockets and relevance of quality parameters
- Measuring dimensions, taking samples and transport products
- Check products against templates
- Ensuring that the quality requirements for the task undertaken are met
- Measuring, monitoring and reviewing the machine performance so that the deviation from specification can be prevented and corrected
- Once trained: Mentoring and training other team members in the above process
The ideal Assistant Cutter Operator will:
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work in a safe and disciplined manner
- Worked within a production environment
- Previously worked shift patterns
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques
Assistant Cutter Operator Working Hours:
- Week 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 18:00pm – 06:00am
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off
- Week 2: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 06:00am – 18:00pm
Monday off
- Week 3: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 18:00pm – 06:00am
Friday, Saturday and Sunday off
- Week 4: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 06:00am – 18:00pm
7 Days off
Shift Manufacturing Operating Benefits:
