We at JKR are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join an established precision engineering business based in Kensworth, near Dunstable!
CNC Turner Roles and Responsibilities:
- Program, set and operate CNC turning machinery
- Create CNC programmes offline using CAD/CAM
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensure components are produced to the required quality standards and tolerances
- Meet production deadlines and internal milestones
- Identify and resolve machining and production issues
- Maintain a high standard of quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Work effectively as part of a team
CNC Turner Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience in CNC turning
- Strong CNC programming, setting and operating experience
- Experience using CAD/CAM
- The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and hands-on approach
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- CMM experience is desirable
CNC Turner Working Hours and Benefits:
- Monday - Thursday, 07:45 - 16:15
- Fridays, 07:45 - 15:15
- 39 hours per week
- Overtime paid at time and a half
