We are looking for an experienced Project Documentation Co-Ordinator to join a growing engineering team in Cramlington.
This role will be responsible for coordinating, packaging and issue client submittals for Gas Turbine system Projects.
Project Documentation Co-ordinator Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and compile project documentation from internal and external stakeholders into structured, submittal-compliant packages in line with contractual and specification requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers and third parties to obtain required technical documentation, ensuring completeness, compliance, and alignment with project deliverables
- Issue and manage project documentation within the Client Document Management System (CDMS), ensuring accurate metadata, traceability, and adherence to agreed document control procedures.
- Administer document workflows within CDMS, including submission, revision control, review cycles, and approval tracking, ensuring timely progression through all stages
- Provide support to document control activities, including the preparation and issuance of manufacturing and construction documentation packages where required
- Identify and escape gaps, inconsistencies, or non-compliances within submittal packages to relevant stakeholders, driving resolution to maintain project schedule and quality standard
- Being open to tasks that require additional training and actively working on broadening your knowledge
- Responsible for collecting, monitoring, processing, and analysing data
- Reporting the data and making recommendations where necessary
Project Documentation Co-Ordinator Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent computer skills, i.e., SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience using document management systems/portals
- Ability to understand, interpret and communicate engineering drawings
- Ability to create document submittal packages
- Good understanding of project execution processes
- 37.5 hours a week, with flexible working
