Jack Richards is looking for a professional Class 2 (C) Day Driver (with occasional Nights Out as required) to join a well-established, family-run national hauler.

Please be aware that this is a Casual role with no guaranteed hours each week: shifts are as per business requirements to cover driver holidays and rest periods.

Unfortunately, we are not accepting applications from Newly Qualified Drivers with less than 12 months’ commercial Class 2 driving experience.

You must hold a valid HGV Class 2 (C) license, a UK digital tachograph card, and a full DQC (CPC card).

Role involves:

  • Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements and reporting issues to your DC team
  • Ensuring the security and accuracy of loads delivered
  • Following delivery instructions accurately
  • Driving safely and efficiently
  • Adhering to health and safety standards, The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations
