FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established, family-run national hauler.

Shift

  • Monday to Friday Days (05:00 – 13:30)
  • Every other Saturday (05:00- 10:00)

Required

You must hold a valid FLT Certificate of Training.

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience operating powered forklifts
  • Proficient written and reading ability.
  • Work well under pressure unsupervised.
  • Knowledge of various material-handling equipment is an asset.
  • Proficient in mathematics.
  • Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Role involves

  • The prime function of this position is to provide support to the warehouse team.
  • Responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics, and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business.
  • Operate a forklift or other hand truck.
  • Use wireless scanning equipment to ensure the accuracy of inventory
  • Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company.
  • Perform cycle counts as required.
  • Identify safety hazards in the workplace.
  • Load pallets to be returned to customer sites.
  • Effective communication with other factory departments.
