HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers – Various Shifts – Corby (General Haulage Fleet)

Job Description:

We are currently looking to hire Class 1 (C+E) Drivers across various shift patterns – Days, Nights & Trampers. All shift patterns considered!

** We will consider applications from Drivers with at least 6 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience **

Preferred Experience:

• General Haulage
• Curtainside Trailers
• Timber
• Ratchet Strapping

Role involves:

• Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
• Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
• Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations

** You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, hold a UK digital tachograph card, and a full DQC (CPC card) **

Trampers:

• 5/6 Day or Night Tramper (Any Start Day) – c. £57,200 to £58,900 + Bonuses
• Mon to Fri Tramper (1 in 3 Sat) – c. £55,900 + Bonuses
• Mon to Fri Tramper – c. £53,200 + Bonuses
• 4 on 4 off Tramper – c. £38,400 + Bonuses

Days:

• 5/6 Days (Any Start Day) – c. £51,100 to £52,800 + Bonuses
• Mon to Fri Days (1 in 3 Sat) – c. £50,000 + Bonuses
• Mon to Fri Days – c. £47,800 + Bonuses

Nights:

• 5/6 Nights (Any Start Day) – c. £48,200 to £50,000 + Bonuses
• Mon to Fri Nights (1 in 3 Sat) – c. £44,400 + Bonuses
• Mon to Fri Nights – c. £43,700 + Bonuses

Bonuses:

• £6 per shift worked Retention Bonus (c. £980 p.a. – £1,500 p.a)
• SAFED Fuel Bonus (c. £730 p.a. – £1,000 p.a.)

The above figure includes:

• Enhanced Rates after 10 hours
• £26.20 per Night Out (Tax-Free) – Tramping Only
• up to £10 per Day Meal Allowance (Tax Free)
• Get paid 13 times a year (4 weekly).
