We are currently looking to hire Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers across various shift patterns.
We will consider applications from Drivers with at least 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience
Preferred Experience:
- General Haulage
- Curtainside Trailers
- Ratchet Strapping
Role involves:
- Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
- Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
- Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations
You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, hold a UK digital tachograph card, and a full DQC (CPC card)
Estimated Annual Gross Earnings:
The following are example shifts. If there’s a shift pattern that suits you better
Trampers:
- 5/6 Day or Night Tramper (Mon Start Day) – c. £53,700 + Fuel Bonus
- Mon to Fri Tramper (1 in 3 Sat) – c. £52,400 + Fuel Bonus
- Mon to Fri Tramper – c. £49,900 + Fuel Bonus
- 4 on 4 off Tramper – c. £36,300 + Fuel Bonus
Bonus:
- SAFED Fuel Bonus (c. £730 p.a. – £1,000 p.a.)
The above figure includes:
- Enhanced Rates after 10 hours
- £26.20 per Night Out (Tax-Free) – Trampling
- up to £10 per Day Meal Allowance (Tax Free)
