Role Involves
- Ensure vehicles comply with legal requirements and report issues to your DC team.
- Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge.
- Follow delivery instructions accurately and effectively.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner.
- Comply with all health and safety standards, the Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card).
Estimated Annual Gross Earnings
- Trampers: 5/6 day or night tramper – c. £57,200 to £58,900 + bonuses; Mon‑Fri tramper – c. £55,900 + bonuses; 4 on 4 off tramper – c. £38,400 + bonuses.
- Days: 5/6 days (any start) – c. £51,100 to £52,800 + bonuses; Mon‑Fri days – c. £47,800 + bonuses.
- Nights: 5/6 nights (any start) – c. £48,200 to £50,000 + bonuses; Mon‑Fri nights – c. £43,700 + bonuses.
- Bonuses: £6 per shift worked retention bonus (c. £980–£1,500 p.a.); SAFED fuel bonus (c. £730–£1,000 p.a.).
