Are you an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver looking to work just a few days a week, weekends only? Or are you retired and want to get out of the house for a few days peace and quiet?! At Jack Richards our Casual Drivers are offered flexibility of shifts based on availability without the need of having a set contracted amount of hours. Most shift patterns considered covering Days, Nights or Tramping

We will only consider applications from Drivers with at least 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience.

  • You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Hold a UK digital tachograph card
  • Have a full DQC (CPC card)

Pay Rates:

  • Days & Trampers: £15.30 per hour (Weekdays)
  • £16.20 per hour (Weekday Overtime Rate after 10 hours worked)
  • £16.90 per hour (Saturday)
  • £17.15 per hour (Sunday)
  • Up to £10 Meal Allowance Saturday (Tax Free)
  • Nights: £151.75 per 10 hour shift (Weeknights)
  • £17.55 per hour (Weekday Overtime Rate after 10 hours worked)
  • £183.50 per 10 hour shift (Saturday Night)
  • £163.50 per 10 hour shift (Sunday Night)
  • Up to £5 Meal Allowance (Tax Free)
